Linley - Director's Chair
Machined from 7075 T6 aircraft grade aluminium, the frame of the chair is made up of 130 component parts. Other materials used include brass and acetyl for the bearings, high tensile steel bolts for the assembly and rubber O-rings to retain the end caps and the arms and lower leg rails which are constructed in solid American walnut. Each piece is machined on high speed CNC (digitally automated) mills and lathes, and then hand polished prior to assembly.

Striving to use only the best materials available, LINLEY has sourced the finest leather of its type in the world. The tanned leather seat and back rests are made from light tan bridle butts from Britain's only remaining traditional tannery in Devon. The hides are carefully selected and fashioned by an award winning saddler and harness maker. The traditional hand-stitching skills needed for bridle and harness making have been employed here to create an interesting juxtaposition with the engineered aluminium frame.
Please note that these chairs do not fold.
